Discovering local tradition

Teenagers became involved in the realization of the project of restoring remembrance about cultural heritage of „Świętokrzyskie weaving mill” in Bodzentyn.

Having learnt about local history and culture especially in respect of Cooperative of Folk Craftwork’s activities and the tradition of weaving in our region teenagers set off to small villages in a search for mementoes kept by inhabitants of Bodzentyn Commune.

At the end of the project the teenagers’ findings were shown during an exhibition „Moc pasiaka”. We discovered, completed and started weaving machine, which was a great success.
