Wares
Cooperative of Folk Craftwork „Świętokrzyskie weaving mill” in Bodzentyn manufactured wares from different kinds of yarn. Wool yarn was used to make kilims, aprons, runners and wall hangings – linen yarn for tablecloths, and cotton yarn – for pillows and tablecloths.
Design of wares, manufactured in the Cooperative, especially of woolen fabrics was constantly enriched. Their own patterns constituted a major part of the Cooperative design. in 1970 an ethnographic camp was organized by „Cepelia”. Its participants provided new motives and decorative patterns through a search made in the country aiming at finding examples of ancient works.
