Folk band

The life of cooperative went beyond the area of the weaving mill. Joined trips, ceremonies and creative activities in a local folk band „Przepióreczka” were part of it.

In 1965 from the initiative and under Andrzej Telka’s management singing and dancing group „Przepióreczka” and a folk band were established.

The band consisted of 30 people, boasted beautiful regional costumes and was known not only in the whole country but also abroad. It presented repertoire based only on local folklore and safeguarded old regional traditions.

By the side of big „Przepióreczka”  a small one grew- child band with a huge artistic output.
